The hamster is called A-GIN. He wears a black trench coat and a black hat, and when he looks over with sunflower seeds in his mouth, even his beady eyes seem unfathomably mysterious. With my little hamster by my side, I’ve made the pet shop a roaring success. The part-timer from the Poirot Café next door, Amuro Tooru, asked me, “What’s the secret to your success?” I held A-GIN in the palm of my hand, raised him high above my head, and declared with deep feeling, “Because my A-GIN is a business genius!” Even the most vicious customers obediently hand over all the money on them and donate it to the animals in the shop after one look from A-GIN’s beady eyes. I was deeply moved. There’s still genuine kindness in this world. But can someone tell me why there are more and more strange little animals in the pet shop? A black squirrel has bewitched every stray cat on the block. A noisy little parrot is annoying everyone wherever it goes. A grinning Shiba Inu has even made its debut in the movies. Life is simple and beautiful. Until one day, I was captured by some bad guys. I thought I was done for, but the bad guys were shot in the head by a toothpick case from eight hundred li away. A-GIN quietly takes no credit for his deeds. My A-GIN is invincible. He can make money and snipe like a pro! I hugged my A-GIN and praised him, deeply moved: “My A-GIN really is the best sniper mouse in the whole world!” A Chi, who was busy reloading his weapon, spat out a curse. Stop arguing, you’re all my wings! A few notes for readers: I’ve never run a pet shop. Everything about running one is entirely made up. OOC is present. Theme: Humans and animals living together in harmony
