Unlucky as ever, Qi Yuanjiang died in an accident. But when he opened his eyes again, a whole new world lay before him, one filled with death and despair.
Monstrous anomalies ran rampant. The infected stood guard, yet they, too, would ultimately be assimilated by the anomalies. Ordinary people were kept in fenced-off zones, muddling through each day, any one of which might be the last of their lives.
In such a cruel world, people were born unequal.
Qi Yuanjiang didn't want to die.
So he would stake everything to climb to the top.
In this strange and dangerous world, Qi Yuanjiang initially cared only about staying alive. But gradually, he saw countless people risking everything for a future that seemed hopeless.
They were the flames kindled beneath a gray sky, flowers blooming in a barren wasteland. Even on this blood-soaked journey, they shone with a light that would never go out.
They dazzled him, too.
"Don't be afraid. Keep moving forward.
"Let us make you a god."
Reader's Guide: 0. This is a story about making a god, and a journey to become a legend.
1. A long-form male-lead story, no main couple, multiple arcs, ensemble cast. I'm revising the outline as I write, so major edits may happen at any time. The male lead is a work in progress (?).
2. The cover features my own commissioned OCs: Xie Hua, Bai Yan, and Bai Yang, so there are no copyright issues.
3. A power-progression story with a bit of edginess. If it's not your thing, please don't flame me.
4. My writing skills are limited, so there may be plot holes. I'll do my best.
5. The male lead's surname is Qi, pronounced "chee."
6. The protagonist has no main couple, but there is a male-female side couple (?).
7. This is a writing exercise, but I still hope to finish the story.
