Rear-End Collision

Love is full of schemes--

A rear-end collision, and a story of men and women in love.

I was driving a used car worth fifty thousand when I rear-ended a luxury car.

And then this story began between him and me...

My latest completed novel: "Watching the Sunset in Hong Kong". A Hong Kong-style romance: Secretary x CEO

-

Crossing from Shenzhen into Hong Kong to watch the sunset from the Peak, Chen Jiami meets Jiang Baitu and suddenly wants to have a romance with no thoughts of tomorrow.

Jiang Baitu feels the same.

Later, when she learns that he lives in a luxurious Mid-Levels mansion and comes from a distinguished family, Chen Jiami knows all the more that she shouldn't take it seriously.

She suggests they end their game. Jiang Baitu looks at her calmly. "As you wish."

-

Jiang Baitu crosses over to Shenzhen to take over the company.

That day, his newly hired secretary comes in with coffee. Their eyes meet, and Secretary Chen, flustered and nervous, drops the cup.

Jiang Baitu gives her a half-smile. "It's all right. Take your time."

As soon as he finishes speaking, Chen Jiami fumbles and breaks the saucer too.

Jiang Baitu: …

-

After that, they get along peacefully. Chen Jiami assumes he's a busy man who has long forgotten her.

They both pretend to be strangers. Chen Jiami is around him every day, and Jiang Baitu thinks he can keep himself under control, but in the end, he can't.

That night in Macau, he intercepts a glass of wine meant for her.

On the way back to the hotel, inside the car and right under the driver's nose, he kisses her without the slightest attempt to hide it.

A few notes:

1. Baitu is pronounced like the name Plato.

2. Two people who know exactly what they're doing yet still fall, with a five-year age gap.

3. Friends with benefits become colleagues, then lovers become partners.
