When a Guide Transmigrates to a Normal World

Just before he's forced to sleep on the street, he manages to find a temporary housekeeping job. But then he learns that his employer is a wealthy man who's extremely picky and difficult to deal with. What's more, he's apparently a famous lunatic who can communicate with ghosts.

Wen Ruo'an's eyes light up at once. A familiar feeling washes over him, and he volunteers with complete confidence.

"I'm good at this!"

"You're crazy too?"

"I can cure crazy!"

Full of confidence, he heads to a villa in the deserted suburbs. His tall, aloof employer stands in a beautiful garden and looks up at him.

Long hair, sunglasses, black gloves, and a huge, golden snake coiled beside him.

Wen Ruo'an looks down at the soft, plump little black rabbit in his arms, quietly backs away, rubs his nose, and gives an awkward, cautious smile.

"Well, it seems we're in a food chain relationship. This probably won't work."

The handsome employer chuckles softly.

"Oh? Who eats whom?"

"You eat me."

"Ha. Sounds good."

"No, it doesn't!!!"

In the end, the chubby little black rabbit still ends up wearing a shiny golden scarf. Its neck is a little chilly, but otherwise it's fine.

A few months later, everyone is shocked to discover that Xie Siheng, the capricious and moody metaphysics-world big shot known in the industry as the Black Mamba, has been caught keeping a beauty hidden away in his home.

The next day, a verified Weibo account belonging to the president of the Hengtian Group shoots to the top of the trending topics.

One day, a reporter finally manages to track down the legendary "queen," waiting to hear how he tamed the big shot.

Wen Ruo'an rubs his aching back and says with an air of mystery and utter seriousness,

"When it comes to dealing with lunatics, I'm a professional!"

Xie Siheng sees Wen Ruo'an's spirit body for the first time.

Looking at the fat little black rabbit, so black that only its outline is visible, Xie Siheng asks, "Is it called Charcoal?"

Wen Ruo'an: ...Its formal name is Jade Rabbit. Its nickname is Xiaoyu.

Xie Siheng looks puzzled. "Besides both being rabbits, what else do they have in common?"

Wen Ruo'an: ...They bite.

After Xie Siheng has spent a few days with his spirit body.

Wen Ruo'an: Have you decided on a name yet?

Xie Siheng rubs his forehead, looking displeased. "Ask it yourself."

The little golden snake: Sss sss sss! [I want to be called Tyrant!]

Xie Siheng sneers coldly. "You're a snake, and you want to call yourself Tyrant? You're really quite imaginative. What, since you can't be a dragon, are you settling for being a dinosaur?"

Wen Ruo'an: Pfft.

Xie Xiaojin, formal name Tyrant, nickname Little Gold: Whimper, whimper, whimper!

In the end, Wen Ruo'an tenderly strokes Xie Xiaojin's smooth head and coaxes it. "There, there. I'll read you today's ten praises: Tyrant is mighty! Tyrant is handsome! Tyrant is gorgeous! Tyrant is awesome! Tyrant..."

Reader's guide (one-on-one, bottom's perspective):

1. A kind, sunny Guide with nerves of steel, paired with a capricious and moody Sentinel at first, who later becomes a clingy, devoted, scheming tsundere. The top is a special type of Sentinel who develops over time.

2. A simple, sweet little story. Don't expect logic. There will be melodrama, so don't take it too seriously.

3. The Sentinel and Guide settings are all basic concepts from Baidu. If anything differs, consider it an original setting (shrugs).

4. The author really likes this setting but has never written it before, so this is practice and stress relief. Please be kind if it's not very good.
