Doctor Luo Is Angry Again

Everyone at the hospital knew that Doctor Luo Han was a born genius, the hospital's untouchable beauty, courteous and polite yet keeping everyone at arm's length.

One day, a critically ill patient was rushed in. Luo Han took over the case at once, but just before the patient was wheeled into surgery, someone arrived with a team and stopped him.

The man at the front lifted his chin. “The patient is a suspect in a criminal case. He's under my jurisdiction.”

Luo Han glanced at him coldly. “He's my patient. I'm responsible for him.”

A few days later, the criminal disappeared from the hospital, and Luo Han became the prime suspect.

After an overnight surgery, he returned to his office and saw the man who had stopped him again.

“Responsible, are you, Doctor Luo?” The man gave him a teasing smile. “I'll personally keep an eye on you for the next month to clear you of suspicion.”

Ornaments had been moved, and documents were scattered all over the desk.

Luo Han clenched his itching fist. “Do whatever you want.”

Later, the usually cool and aloof Doctor Luo began to crack.

He had papers to sign, but some idle man had dismantled more than a dozen pens into tiny pieces.

At the dead of night, someone pounded on his door as if the world were ending. The bruised man outside grinned at him.

And later still, Doctor Luo, who had never taken a day off all year, took one.

The next day, a diligent figure appeared at the hospital.

His coworkers weren't surprised. They knew Captain Bei had annoyed Doctor Luo again.

They just didn't know what earth-shattering, unforgivable thing he'd done this time. It took a whole week of pathetic pleading before Doctor Luo finally forgave him.

A short scene:

Someone asked Bei Chenyi if he'd ever seen Doctor Luo truly angry.

Bei Chenyi thought of something and suddenly smiled. “When Luo Xiaohan is really angry... he doesn't have the strength to scold me.”
