Mirage Apartments

Wonderland Apartments: Excellent location, newly renovated, fully furnished, and available for rent at an unbelievably low price.

The ad reads: "Your dream home, your perfect life, for just 400 yuan a month. Only for the lucky you."

I moved into Wonderland Apartments, and my neighbors all found themselves living a perfect life, as if in a dream.

I hope I can, too.

-A series of loosely connected short stories.

-Each story has its own protagonists, so it's hard to list potential triggers. For that reason, there are no trigger warnings. Sorry.

-There are male and female leads throughout the novel, each in a one-on-one romance, but romance isn't the focus and is written rather briefly.

-The overall tone is somewhat bleak, but not scary.

--Please add my upcoming mystery adventure, "Everyone Loves Her," from next door to your favorites--

On a stormy night when the power went out, the mistress of a villa died in the sunflower garden she loved most.

Her live-in boyfriend, parents, housekeeper, business partners at her studio, closest friends, and neighbors all loved her. Everyone praised her whenever they spoke of her, and everyone wept bitterly at her death.

So who killed her?

Theme: Be inspiring. Everyone should have the courage to face reality
