After Reincarnating Again, I Gave Up Martial Arts for Literature

Cheng Mingyu transmigrated to an interstellar world. To get home, he had to complete a mission.

He regarded physical fitness tests as his lifelong nemesis. When he saw the mission, "Protect humanity and repel the insect tide (S-rank, extreme danger)," his vision went black.

The freshly activated System had only unlocked the face-customization skill, and it was especially good at throwing him into the deep end.

He transmigrated in the morning, and the Zerg invaded that very night.

Talk about perfect timing.

He decided to put the mission aside for now and go for a "he chases, he runs, he escapes with his life" kind of story.

The war lasted a hundred years. Cheng Mingyu made the most of his talent for keeping his head down and retired after accomplishing his goals.

But less than a month after he transmigrated back home, he was packed up and sent back again.

The Main System had watched him carry out his mission and decided he must have been cheating.

Cheng Mingyu (furious): I absolutely did not! Whoever says I cheated, I'll chop them up!!!

This time, he got the lowest-risk mission: "Become the Federation's top scientist."

Two months later, he stared at his report card, with nine out of ten subjects marked as failures:

Cheng Mingyu: ...Yes, yes, I cheated. Send me back a hundred years so I can do the mission again. I promise I'll do better this time. Really.

A truly good-for-nothing, disabled mecha engineer top x a Zerg Emperor bottom who loves writing melodramatic scripts
