Yuta was beautiful, cold, and bad-tempered, yet he still had countless admirers. He watched them fight over him with cold eyes, until someone else stole his beloved-by-all aura.
He fell from heaven to hell, becoming a liar everyone loved to hate.
His lies were exposed, his vile behavior condemned. Countless people hated him so much their teeth ached, yet he still held himself aloof, making them want even more to drag him down and take their revenge!
So, did Yuta get what was coming to him?
No. They became even more hopelessly infatuated with him.
There has only ever been one true moon. A counterfeit can only pale beside it.
[The Genuine and the Fake]
The apocalypse arrived, and resources grew scarce, yet Yuta still enjoyed the highest standard of treatment. This young scientist was humanity's treasure, and the medicine he developed could save the world.
But someone exposed him for faking his research data, stealing his students' work, and secretly colluding with the rebels. His research was worthless!
The furious public refused to hear his explanations. They threw him into a monster's lair to fend for himself, then turned around and enthusiastically welcomed back humanity's true treasure.
When they later learned the truth, they regretted it and did everything they could to find Yuta, but they couldn't even catch a glimpse of him.
Now he is the monsters' treasure, surrounded by powerful monsters who fiercely protect their own.
[The Mysterious Novelist]
When a plagiarism scandal broke, Yuta went overnight from a bestselling novelist to a prisoner. His readers returned the honors he had stolen to their rightful owner, then made sure to kick him while he was down.
Yuta continued writing novels in prison, using bizarre words and jumbled sentence structures. Readers laughed that even a three-year-old could write better than him.
Yet the novel became a bestseller among the military. It could soothe soldiers suffering from mental torment.
A general recognized his handwriting. It belonged to the superior he had once admired most, who had died heroically many years ago.
The general rushed to the prison to rescue him. Besides Yuta, there was also the infamous leader of a rebel group in the cell.
The rebel leader smiled. "I'm here to take my wife home."
[God of Gods]
His believers drove him from his throne, cursing the liar and telling him to go to hell.
But hell was full of his believers. As long as he raised his voice, they would slaughter all the gods for him and place him on the supreme throne as the God of Gods.
[The King's Game]
This country and its people exiled him, even though he was a diligent and capable ruler.
It didn't matter. He would build a new country, with an army and people who supported him wholeheartedly, and become a tyrant who struck fear into their hearts.

P.S.
1. A wish-fulfillment, face-slapping story. I haven't written in so long, so this is a writing-recovery exercise (sob).
2. I'll think about it.
Theme: Cherish life, stand on your own two feet, and strive to become stronger.
