Untamable

A demon is infatuated with an angel in the clouds. He wants to make the angel’s indifferent face show some other expression. He wants to tame him and make him his very own kitten.

One day, the demon sneaks into the celestial realm and goes to the sanctuary. Through a crack in the door, he sees the angel held in the God of Light’s arms, his clothes rustling violently beneath him. It is one of the lewd dreams the demon has had about the angel, and one of the malicious suspicions born from his base jealousy.

But the truth is the exact opposite.

At last, the demon ambushes the angel and takes him back to his palace. He caresses the angel’s face and wings, unable to stop himself from wanting to possess him completely, make him tremble and beg, and finally bend his back obediently.

But it is only an illusion.

The angel’s long sword pierces the demon’s heart. The angel’s beautiful face draws close, white lashes lowered, golden eyes like cooled molten gold, devoid of joy or sorrow.

The demon watches the angel’s rose-like lips part as he softly breathes words of affection: “I like the way you look at me.”

The demon’s heart pounds violently, as if it has thrown itself against the sharp blade, willing to be cut to ribbons.

Later, clutching the wound in his chest, the demon boasts to the other demons:

“This is my angel’s confession of love to me.”
