Someone travels a thousand miles to investigate tales of people turning into monsters, only to discover that the monster is me.
Someone achieves fame and success and finally gets to show off their talent and ambition, only for a secret buried for years to come to light.
Madam Guo: "I've shown you far too much favoritism. Even though you argue shamelessly, act crude and savage, and are arrogant about your talent, I still think you're clever. I admire you."
Guo Jia: "But I'm terribly disappointed in you. When I thought about us, I imagined facing hardship together, sharing life and death. All you could think about was dying together."
A hazy legend, an old lie, a dream of carefree wandering.
"I don't know why, but when I see you, I think of the wind. It's as if there's something like the wind in your eyes. Perhaps it's because you're as free and frank as the wind, unrestrained and with nothing to hide. When I'm with you, the world feels vast and time feels endless."
A Three Kingdoms-inspired collection of strange tales and novellas, told in the first person.
Guo Jia x unnamed heroine, a painter of erotic art and writer of strange tales
1. The story takes place from the tenth month of Jian'an Year Five through the spring and summer of Jian'an Year Six, after the Battle of Guandu. The timeline has been heavily altered to suit the story.
2. No transmigration or rebirth. The heroine is a native of this world, and the leads have been married for four years.
3. This is an anniversary work. Some details and scenes come from a long Guo Jia novel I wrote ten years ago and other novels I've written over the past decade. You can enjoy this story without having read any of them.
4. Written entirely in casual modern language. Whether I use quotation marks depends on my mood, but it won't affect your reading experience.
5. This story is heavily fictionalized, so please don't scrutinize it for historical accuracy. I'm not a historian or a literature scholar. If you want to argue, then you must be right.
Memories, dreams, and the wind.
Truth, freedom, and love.
Friends and family, please check out my new long novel, I Work a Night Shift in My Dreams. It was originally titled Tonight, I Have an Erotic Dream, and its print edition was published under the title What a Beautiful Night. Anyway, go have a look. Thank you all! You won't lose out by reading it, and you won't get cheated! The numbers before the first ranking are crucial, the numbers on the first ranking are crucial, and the numbers on every ranking are crucial! Such is the life of a keyboard warrior.

Well written! It feels like reading a fantasy novel from the past. Although it is written in straightforward vernacular, the words reveal a solid foundation in writing. This work seems to be far away from me when I read it, and there is a layer of fog between me, so the whiteness is not so clear. Fengxiao and "I" are like a gust of wind, unable to be caught, free and leisurely. To be honest, I never thought of such a plot before watching it. It is like an unfettered and unconstrained imagination, without any logic or realism, it is poetic, arbitrary, and very romantic. In terms of storytelling, there is actually not much plot, but the emotion between "I" and Fengxiao is really well written, and the characters of the two people are also well portrayed. It is the image of Fengxiao in my imagination. Hey, it seems that I have been thinking about Fengxiao for so long... How could it be possible? I didn't expect that this is an imaginary poem that puts aside realism. I like it so much! The author is very good at writing!
Beautiful, thank you author for letting me sleep with wings tonight
Very well written, thank you author. It reminds me of a high school class a long time ago. On a hot afternoon, the teacher was teaching "Xiaoyaoyou". I didn't remember any knowledge points. I was just deep in thought and followed Kunpeng to the sky. In the past few years, maybe because reality has become heavier, I have become more and more envious of the lightness of birds. If there is no yearning for freedom and flying, and no desire for soul-to-soul contact, what is the point of life?
Thank you for writing this unique story. It reminds me of the dreams I often had when I was a child. In my dreams, I also had wings, from jumping clumsily to flying freely.
Wow, the author really knows how to write. When I read these words, I feel like I can really hear the wind flowing through my ears.
Like a dream, the description of the artistic conception of the wind is so beautiful and touching, and there is still something left to be desired.
It has the feeling of "when you are drunk, you don't know that the sky is in the water, and the boat is full of clear dreams and the stars are overwhelming", it is hazy and feels like a dream but not a dream.
I will really cry because of their relationship. My wife really wrote it so well.
I knelt down. I had nothing to say. The author is a god. He could create such a novel. I have no regrets at all 😭
After watching Wen Xin lived for a moment, but when she touched her back, she had no wings.
