The Villain's Code

Hilda, the strongest creature on the continent of Zeya and the last ancient dragon in the Abyss, has been offered a bounty of a hundred billion by the royal family of the Diamond Empire.

After the deed is done, the king has also promised to marry the empire's most beautiful little princess to the hero who slays the dragon.

Tens of thousands of dragon-slaying parties set off for the Abyss.

When Hilda hears the news, she buys a ticket to the imperial capital in the middle of the night, resolutely joins the strongest squad, and embarks on a dragon-slaying adventure.

Her loyal butler, Gray, asks in confusion, "Have you set your sights on the empire's little princess?"

Hilda nods. "You're absolutely right. It's definitely not because I'm short on money."

Gray takes a deep breath. "...Will I still get paid this month?"

Hilda says earnestly, "Think long-term. Once I become the empire's son-in-law, I'll bring you here to enjoy the good life."

Gray: "..."
