Help, My Wife Is a Lantern Jellyfish

Just a bit of wild brainstorming. I wanted to write it down.

Hello, everyone. My name is Leander Dane. I'm a snow leopard from the Beastfolk, currently studying as an exchange student at Mertheston Interstellar Academy in the Sea Maiden Star System.

The native inhabitants of the Sea Maiden Star System are the Sea Folk, a bunch of good-looking fish people whose species and gender are hard to distinguish.

But none of them is as good-looking as my wife, hehe.

My wife is Sea Folk too. His name is Liu Zhen Sidney, the prettiest little fish I've ever seen. He's gentle and timid, so his classmates are always leaving him out.

He was so pitiful, I had to step in and protect him.

That is, until the day before yesterday, when I saw my wife smile softly on the hill behind the academy, flick a transparent tentacle from his index finger, and knock out more than ten burly men in an instant.

An hour later, I dug a book on Sea Folk species, half a meter thick, out of the library and brought it to my wife, asking him to turn to the page for his species.

My adorable wife hooked his arm through mine and smiled as he pointed it out to me, sweet little dimples showing on his face.

I kissed one of his dimples and took a closer look.

[The Sidney family: ...All members are highly poisonous jellyfish. Approach with caution...]

So my wife is a highly poisonous jellyfish...

Help!!!

The second day of avoiding my wife

My wife looked at me dejectedly and asked in a small voice, "Are you breaking up with me because of my species?"

Ah, he's so pitiful, adorable, and beautiful...

I immediately thumped my chest and promised, "We're not breaking up. Not in this lifetime. We'll get married as soon as we graduate!"
