Raising Kids to Save the Cultivation World

The most important thing for a System is choosing a suitable Host. After receiving a mission to save the cultivation world, Qing Hui, a thirteen-time winner of the Top Ten Systems award, drew up a list of potential Hosts. Potential Host Number One was a debonair beauty who could turn the world upside down with a flick of his hand, the all-powerful emperor of the mortal realm. Potential Host Number Two carried a deep-seated grudge, but was peerlessly gifted, a genius the cultivation world saw only once in ten thousand years. Potential Host Number Three was as cool as the moon. He had once fallen into the mud, then returned to the clouds, his unyielding character earning him the admiration of all as a revered immortal. Potential Host Number Four was a half-immortal, half-demon. After experiencing every hardship in the mortal realm as a child, he returned to the demon realm and rose to the top as its ruler. Potential Host Number Five was followed by countless admirers, with many eager to become his lovers, yet he severed his ties to love with a single sword stroke and ascended to immortality. Every one of them was a paragon among men, a potential savior. While Qing Hui hesitated, he decided to visit the cultivation world and see how things stood. To his utter shock, he'd arrived three hundred years too early. Those great figures who would one day shake the cultivation world were now all little brats who couldn't read a single character or put a sentence together. They were all alone, with no one to care for them, and about to starve to death by the roadside. He had to keep these little ones alive until the right Host appeared, saved the world, and allowed him to leave. Qing Hui: "..." The first step in saving the world was apparently raising children. * Years later, Qing Hui returned to headquarters to give his work report. A colleague asked him how he'd solved the SSS-rank apocalyptic crisis. Qing Hui: "I guess I raised a bunch of little ones, then, with their help, turned the mastermind who wanted to destroy the world into my boyfriend...?" * A child-rearing story (?) * An immature idea I thought I'd put here for now. Theme: People should look ahead.
