A Demon Hunter's Daily Life with a Vampire Butler

Also known as The Demon Hunter Young Master and His Vampire Butler's Steamy Romance

One day, Xie Lan woke from a long sleep and found himself in the modern world, transported from the nineteenth century.

His awakening meant that the twelve demons of Hell had returned to the human world, bringing chaos with them.

To deal with the demons, he had to learn to adapt to this strange, exciting, advanced modern era, while setting out to find his old equipment.

But when he returned to his castle, he found a coffin that had been taken over by someone else. His demon-hunting sword was supposed to be inside.

Impatiently, Xie Lan lifted the coffin lid. A drop of bright red blood fell from a cut on his palm, and successfully awakened a tall, handsome vampire.

Xie Lan looked at his wound, then at the man before him, who wore a faint, knowing smile.

Xie Lan: I'm done. Whoever wants to hunt demons can do it themselves.

.

As an ancient vampire, Siviel grew tired of the world's commotion after falling unconscious from a serious injury. He simply climbed into a coffin and sealed himself away.

Then one day, someone else claiming to have just woken up lifted his coffin lid and used his blood to bind Siviel to a century-long master-servant pact.

Well, looks like he had no choice but to be a proper butler.

Well, it turned out his master was a demon hunter, who didn't seem to need him at all.

He didn't have to be so dismissive, though, hey!

.

Siviel rested her chin on her hand like a girl. "Aren't you a demon hunter? Would you hurt me?"

Xie Lan looked thoroughly impatient. "Do you have any basic understanding of yourself? You're not a god, a demon, a ghost, or a monster."

He looked at the other apologetically. "You're not even human."

Siviel: ...

Do demon hunters have no hearts?

-

Siviel has three secrets: First, he likes to kneel on one knee and call Xie Lan 'Young Master' (it feels like a proposal). Second, he likes being ordered around by Xie Lan (and then getting fucked). Third, he likes Xie Lan.
