As someone with an extremely muted emotional response, Tang Xun has always been described by those around him as follows: He's got a great face, but a major personality flaw. He's so cold and heartless that you can't call him a normal person.

Those close to him say: He's emotionally detached, never smiles, and his heart rate stays at 60 even when watching horror movies or riding roller coasters.

Tang Xun has no objections.

That is, until he enters the escape-room world-

When his younger brother devoutly siphons his good luck in hopes of drawing a good card-

Tang Xun: I'm your brother, not a turtle in a wishing pond.

When a beautiful female NPC asks whether he'd be faithful if he married her, Tang Xun calmly replies, looking at the corpses all over the ground-

Tang Xun: I'm into men, so your question doesn't apply.

When his teammate asks how to get more cards in the escape-room world-

Tang Xun: First, you need to stay alive.

The escape-room team: What? Tang Xun is aloof and quiet? Emotionally detached? Bullshit! He's a deadpan comedian!

Tang Xun, who has never been interested in anything, suddenly becomes interested in someone.

The person in question, Ying Zhun, says: You spend all day trying to figure out if I'm an NPC, and that's what you call being interested in me?

Tang Xun, emotionally detached, pins Ying Zhun into the corner of the sofa, practically straddling him. He raises a hand to Ying Zhun's sharply defined, handsome face and looks down at him intently. "I have a special feeling for you. I've never felt this way before. I reasonably suspect you've used some kind of skill on me."

Ying Zhun hooks an arm around Tang Xun's neck and pulls him into his arms. He whispers in his ear, "Oh no, darling. I think you've fallen in love with me."

One day, Xie Lan awakes from a long slumber, transported from the nineteenth century to the modern world.

Xie Lan looks at his wound and the faintly smiling man before him.

Xie Lan: I quit. Whoever wants to hunt demons can do it.

As an ancient vampire, Sivier grew tired of the hustle and bustle of the mortal world after falling unconscious from a serious injury. He simply climbed into a coffin and sealed himself away.

Then one day, someone else who claimed to have just woken up lifted his coffin lid and used his blood to bind Sivier to a hundred-year master-servant oath.

Well, guess I'll just be his butler.

Well, it turns out he's a demon hunter, and apparently doesn't need me.

Xie Lan, looking thoroughly impatient: Do you have any basic understanding of what you are? You're not a god, demon, ghost, or monster.

He looks at the other apologetically: You're not even human.

Sivier: ...

Sivier has three secrets: First, he likes getting down on one knee and calling Xie Lan "Young Master" (it feels like a marriage proposal). Second, he likes being ordered around by Xie Lan (and then getting it on). Third, he likes Xie Lan.
