The Ghost Detective, Kudo-kun

[Content warning: Later, the protagonist is forcibly injected with drugs in retaliation by a drug dealer. The drug dealer and the protagonist’s body have both been treated. The drug dealer is in trouble, but the protagonist is fine. The protagonist will not take drugs a second time and will not become addicted. In real life, stay away from drugs and stay away from crazy people! This is a warning.] Kudo has been able to see ghosts since childhood. On top of that, he has a peculiar constitution: wherever he goes, a corpse turns up. It seems he was born with the mission of finding the culprit. But ghosts aren’t always friendly, and a sense of justice is sometimes useless. His parents died horribly because of him, and his still-developing personality was twisted inside out. Ten years passed in a flash. He happened to attend a technology exhibition, where a certain doctor invented an explosive device. When Kudo opened his eyes, he had landed in a parallel world. His counterpart in this parallel world was known as the savior of the Japanese police and the Sherlock Holmes of the Heisei era. His parents were both alive, and he had a childhood friend by his side. ...Great, but none of that had anything to do with him. He left Tokyo and went to Osaka alone to work as an unremarkable private detective. He thought life would go on as usual, but his medium-like knack for stumbling into trouble seemed to have been supercharged in this world. Scene 1: A cheerful, outgoing girl skilled in aikido presses her hands together. “Please, Shinichi, help me investigate the woman named Kudo, who shares your name and has left Heiji unable to stop thinking about her ever since he went to Tokyo!” Scene 2: A handsome ghost with curly hair and sunglasses crouches on the ground smoking. He spots an old acquaintance and excitedly floats over, forgetting that he’s possessing him. He crashes into the young detective with blond hair and dark skin, knocking him flat on his back. “...I’m counting on you!” Scene 3: To be added. One ordinary day, Kurozawa wakes up and makes breakfast for the children. Then he opens his eyes to find himself sitting inside a Porsche 356A, while an unfamiliar man with an underbite drives him to a meeting. A meeting? What meeting? Kurozawa stares in shock at Rye, with his wolfish green eyes, the nonchalant Bourbon, and the smiling-but-dangerous Scotch. For a while, he thinks he has transmigrated into the future, a future where all his adorable children have gone astray! Fortunately, the children gradually reappear by Kurozawa’s side. Even though he’s in a different world, Kurozawa wants to take responsibility for them and set things right. And so he begins his journey of secretly raising kids, openly defying the rules, and ultimately saving the world!
