The Bridal Kidnapping

Jin Biao, the little tyrant of the demon realm, had thrown his weight around for centuries, finally managing to get his father, the ruler of the demon realm, removed from his position. An order came down from the Ninth Heaven, and from then on the demon realm had a celestial civil servant overseeing every demon, great and small. The civil servant held high office and wielded the law with an iron fist. Reading the situation, Jin Biao decided to take out his revenge on the man's son.

Jin Biao had planned to openly ambush Li Yin and make him cry. He never expected to confess his secret crush and get rejected instead. After all that scheming, Li Yin was completely unharmed, while Jin Biao was left battered in body and spirit. He'd been tangled up with this young celestial lord since they were children, yet he had never once gotten the better of him.

At last, Li Yin was going to get married.

Jin Biao slammed down his cup and jumped to his feet. Years of pent-up resentment could no longer be contained. He was going to abduct the groom!

It should have been a farce that ended with them falling out for good. But the moment Jin Biao lifted the bridal sedan's curtain, he found someone inside gazing at him with a peach-blossom smile, as if he'd been waiting for him for ages.

After breaking the rules of the game, Zhou Xing, the game's strongest NPC, was banished by the System to the support team and made a therapist at the NPC Recovery Center. Hoping to reclaim his former glory, he diligently treated every NPC left heartbroken by the players' abuse.

After several years of hard work, he finally became the Recovery Center's most famous traditional doctor. Zhou Xing happily watched the number of cases he had treated climb higher and higher, counting on his fingers how many more he needed to complete all his functions.

Then one day, an unwelcome visitor arrived at the Recovery Center and burned all of Zhou Xing's years of hard work to ashes. Zhou Xing said nothing as he looked helplessly at the handsome man before him, whose eyes were red at the corners and whose face was twisted with anger.

NPC A: "Dr. Zhou, he's picking on you! I'll kill him!"

NPC B: "Who the hell are you? If you're crazy, turn left and go to the psych ward. Why are you harassing our Zhou?"

NPC C: "Fuck you!"

The director: "Get that new machine for treating mania and set it up for this guy. He needs a shock."

Zhou Xing hurriedly stopped the assistant from wheeling over the machine, rubbing his nose sheepishly. "Don't... He's my ex-boyfriend."

Fu Zheng was the high-powered player with the best chance of winning the ghost-hunting game. He'd fought his way through countless bosses, big and small, and finally reached the last level.

He was determined to take down the final boss, rumored to be so vicious that nobody had ever beaten it. But when Fu Zheng disdainfully pushed open the door to the final level, he froze.

The legendary final boss sat obediently on a leather sofa, looking at him. Warm sunlight streamed through the window, lighting up his fair, rosy face. The vicious boss smiled, revealing two adorable dimples. "Hey, handsome. Want to date?"

Fu Zheng's heart clenched. Holy crap, this level is about overcoming a romantic trial!

[Reading Guide]

1. Reconciliation after a breakup. The leads have a misunderstanding, but once they clear it up, the top will spoil his darling rotten.

2. There may be a little groveling later on, though I'm not sure yet since I haven't worked it out. If that bothers you, feel free to decide whether to add it to your collection.

3. The game is designed mainly to make things satisfying for the players, so the NPCs are often the ones who get hurt.

4. Other details are undecided.
