The Bright Mirror's Vanity Case

[Blurb]

The Chief Minister of the Court of Justice holds a third-rank post and serves as the highest judicial official in the court. Yet this solemn office is held by the youngest and most handsome Chief Minister since the founding of the dynasty. In his prime, and, most importantly, still single!

But Lord Shen has his heart set on solving cases, leaving the capital's noble ladies in a panic!

The theft of the treasury silver, a body sunk in a lotus pond, a string of murders, and unsolved cases going back ten or twenty years. Even at the Spring Welcoming Banquet, surrounded by fragrant gowns and jeweled hair, Lord Shen sees nothing. This peerlessly handsome Lord Shen is still busy investigating the case of a noble lady falling into the water...

Chancellor Gu: Lord Shen is either solving a case or on his way to solve one! His main job is Chief Minister of the Court of Justice, and his side job is solving cases. He works conscientiously and has no other hobbies. Don't disturb him while he's investigating.

Court Deputy of the Court of State Ceremonial: The envoys from Yan and Han who arrived today have all come to ask Lord Shen about cases in their countries. A little diplomacy through detective work, if you will.

General Ye: I always feel there's something off about Shen Jingzhi...

Eunuch Min: Lord Shen, you know how it is. Wherever you go, a case is sure to turn up. The Crown Prince's procession is here today, so could you stay a little farther away? Please?

Crown Prince: What is it this time?

Shen Jingzhi: Generally speaking, killers who commit a string of crimes return to the scene afterward to watch. He'll show up tonight.

Crown Prince: ...

The peerlessly handsome Chief Minister of the Court of Justice only wants to solve cases.
