Overthrow That Tyrant

[Blurb 1] Overthrow that tyrant!

Ye Xiao woke up one day to discover that she was the tyrant herself, and a high-risk tyrant disguised as a man at that...

In her previous life, Ye Xiao had worked herself to death compiling histories. She knew all about the ways tyrants throughout history had died: the standard ones, the unusual ones, the utterly unremarkable ones, the attention-grabbing ones, and those who were so afraid they wouldn't die that they went out of their way to get themselves killed...

Clearly, the original owner was the last kind.

The entire court wanted to overthrow her, but she had read all kinds of history books, proper and otherwise, and had plenty of experience keeping herself alive as a tyrant!

Could she kneel in public and turn over a new leaf? Of course!

Could she weep bitterly and repent? Of course!

Could she put righteousness above family, letting her relatives die instead of her? Of course!

Could she cut off her hair to atone, and refuse food and water? Of course!

She refused to believe she couldn't deal with these people who wanted to kill their ruler every single day...

Right! Xu Lan! The traitor who assassinated the ruler and seized power in the history books, then cut out the original owner's heart! He eventually became the founding emperor, beloved by all the people. She had to figure out how to kill him first!

[Blurb 2]

One day, during the tyrant's sacrifice to Heaven, a righteous hero attempted an assassination. Though it failed, the tyrant was badly wounded in the head and fell into a coma. She woke up five days later.

But after she woke, things got a little complicated...

How should one put it?

She kept hallucinating that she was going to become a great and wise ruler. What a clown!

So, was this rebellion happening or not?

Xu Lan replied calmly, "It is."
