Golden Hairpins in a High Coiffure

*The story of the five beloved granddaughters of the Countess of Yongan, an ensemble tale about women.

The Countess of Yongan had four beloved granddaughters. Each wore elaborate golden hair ornaments and carried herself with grace and dignity, each in her own way.

At home, they bickered and argued from morning to night. Outside, they were the very picture of sisterly affection.

The countess wasn't worried about those four granddaughters.

She had one concern she could never put aside: when would her fourth granddaughter, who had gone missing as a child, be found?

Reading guide:

1. The five sisters have very different personalities: assertive, shrewd, hot-tempered, and even "airheaded." The story may have an unusual style, and all five are protagonists. The fourth may not appear until later.

2. There are romantic pairings, but the story may not end with only one husband for each granddaughter, or there may eventually be five sons-in-law.

3. There is personal growth, sweet moments, and also letting go. The story will go wherever it takes me.

Theme: Women should love themselves and become strong before they can live remarkable lives.
