The man's voice was cold, without a trace of warmth.
But the next second, he turned away, tears welling in his eyes. He lowered his head with a bitter smile, as if he couldn't tell whether he was tormenting Ming Yu or himself.
When he turned back to look at her, his eyes were already red.
"You want me to forgive you, right? Fine. Marry me."
Gu Xubai was as bright and untarnished as a clear sky after rain. He came from a good family, was handsome and an excellent student, and he was warm and sunny.
He smiled often and was kind. He could sing while playing the guitar, play basketball, and patiently tutor any classmate who asked him for help.
