Binding to a System, Building an Entertainment Empire

Li Shi transmigrated into a book, landing in a campus novel set in a sci-fi world. He was also bound to a villain System and became the story's villainous BOSS.

To stay alive, he needed to raise his popularity as a villain?

Since the original owner had an entertainment company, why not film a few short dramas and gain some popularity directly?

The mission was soon complete.

Li Shi received an SSS rating: [Millions of people are cursing you out. You're evil to the core! A villain of true greatness, the likes of which come once in a century!]

...What? That's not right!

Only then did Li Shi realize that a villain's popularity score was actually an annoyance score.

The bad news: He'd tried to win over the people of the interstellar era for nothing. That wasn't what he needed to stay alive.

The good news: After watching his work, the people of the interstellar era got mad that there was no substitute to watch, so he wouldn't run out of annoyance points anytime soon.

Even better news: His rivals hated him, and they had accidentally helped him stay alive. This felt great.

Heh.

The people of the interstellar era welcomed a year in which the entertainment industry blossomed in every direction.

There were short dramas that gave your brain a spa, mystery novels you couldn't put down, art films designed to make you cry, and farming games with maximum time-wasting potential...

And every single one of them came from the same person.

People of the interstellar era: You (bleep) are only allowed to make short dramas/write novels/film movies/make games!

People of the interstellar era: ???

People of the interstellar era: There's an enemy among us! Let's fight the heretic first!

News report: The source of the recent online flame war turns out to be...

Li Shi, whose missions were automatically completing with a string of cheerful dings: Hehe!

The original protagonist is Ji Changzhou.

As the main character of an interstellar campus novel, barring any surprises, he would spend his whole life revolving around his school.

But the success of his classmate Li Shi was too dazzling, and Ji Changzhou wanted to give it a try too.

His first company was a special effects subcontractor for Li Shi's company.

His second company was a subcontractor to that subcontractor.

In the end, Ji Changzhou went straight to Li Shi and immediately received a job offer. That was how he began a lifetime of going bald over one technical problem after another.

Li Shi: If I make some outrageous demands to spur him on, he'll probably give me the most annoyance points... Hm? Why isn't it going up at all?

Ji Changzhou: Because I don't hate you :)

1. Li Shi (uke) x Ji Changzhou (seme)

2. The System is hands-off, so there's very little System-related plot.

3. The protagonist really did transmigrate into a book, but there was no original owner. The System made up this identity on the spot because it needed a villain.

4. There is [content copied from existing works]. Readers who dislike that can avoid this story.

5. 70% anti-piracy protection
