Honey, I'm Off to Conquer the World. Spot Me Some Cash First

If you like it, please add it to your favorites!] Lin Jianlu, a homebody with his Charm stat maxed out, gets duped by a flashy ad one day and spends a fortune on a mobile game called Conquer the World, Starting with Britain. The game starts players off in Britain, where they end up in prison for stealing ten British rice balls. Lin Jianlu: Players are supposed to conquer the world! How can a little prison hold me back... Oh! Am I supposed to break out? Half an hour later... Lin Jianlu makes his escape, only to lock eyes with Wilde, who had been trying to persuade the police to let him go and insisting that he was more than happy to shower a beauty with money. Wilde: !!!!! And so, Wilde, who cared about Lin Jianlu, takes him home. Lin Jianlu steals, no, earns his first pot of gold. Lin Jianlu leaves Wilde, the NPC who willingly hands out money, and sets off to conquer the world in the game! * [Clock Tower Attendants] Everyone knows that Wilde has fallen for a very strange young man. The young man is beautiful, has a peculiar ability, and is full of energy every day. The problem is... Whenever he gets money, he breaks up with Wilde to go conquer the world. He only returns to Wilde after failing, then drains the lovestruck Wilde dry before setting off to conquer the world again... And so the cycle continues. To keep Wilde from becoming so broke that he has to sell his ability, the [Clock Tower Attendants] decide to recruit the young man. Recruitment goes smoothly, but a few months later, Wilde winds up in prison for embezzlement and corruption. At the trial, the [Clock Tower Attendants]: ...Oscar Wilde, never mind everything else. Are you saying you bought yourself ten pairs of gemstone earrings? Wilde: Yes. [Clock Tower Attendants]: And shorts, thigh garters, and a sailor uniform, too? Wilde: Yes. [Clock Tower Attendants]: ... Have you even worn any of them? Do you think we're stupid or something?! * Lin Jianlu always thought this game would only ever be a mobile game, until he received a full-dive pod from the company. The good news: the pod is free. The bad news: only the first two hours of use each day are free, and Lin Jianlu has no money right now. Lin Jianlu enters the game and discovers that it really is a completely realistic second world. So, being naturally frugal, he decides to make the most of those two hours and do some things he can't do on his phone. And so, the entire game world gets two hours of peace each day, and everyone is happy. Everyone except Wilde, who has been getting taken advantage of by Lin Jianlu for days on end.
