Hello, Do You Need Contract Services?

XX is a graduate of Demon School, Class of 2025.

As demons grow more numerous, humans believe in them less and less, while technology advances at an ever faster pace. The employment rate for demons in the human world has fallen year after year, dropping below 5% last year.

To help ordinary demons achieve their dreams and find human owners, Demon School puts every demon through rigorous career training: professional smiles, microexpressions, psychology, service guidelines, sales pitches, and more...

As a student at the bottom of the class, XX knows that the early bird gets the worm, so he rushes to every summoning ritual.

But humans these days are just too cunning. They summon at least three demons every time, and some even conjure up hundreds or thousands! Then they make them take turns presenting PowerPoints and defending their proposals!

At last, one day, he hurried to the nearest summoning ritual again, only to find a lone, injured young man. There were no other demons around him! What's more, he had no idea what a summoning ritual even was!

This was... the legendary chance to swoop in and claim the prize!

"Hello! I'm a demon! Would you like to make a contract?"

XX was thrilled.

Though the human was always cold and distant, XX didn't mind. He attended to his every need and fussed over him, turning into a little prince of domestic devotion.

At last, the human was moved by him.

He took out a small red booklet and said he wanted to make a human contract with him.

XX was overjoyed, then stared at the human writing and struggled to read it, one character at a time:

"...M...a...r...r...i...a...g...e... C...e...r...t...i...f...i...c...a...t...e?"
