Scum Alphas Never Self-Reflect

[First-person blurb, third-person main text]

As a scummy alpha in a novel, I have always done my duty to torment omegas. There have been countless omegas I've tormented, including the impoverished college student I sponsored, the childhood friend and actress who grew up with me, my ex-boyfriend who couldn't forget me, and the alpha big brother next door, who wasn't an omega but suppressed his feelings for me.

To play the part of a scummy alpha well, I really did make sure to torment them both physically and emotionally. Even someone with the strongest masochistic streak couldn't put up with someone as awful as me.

I either turned a blind eye to their love for me, or, once I realized how they felt, mercilessly toyed with their emotions.

A scummy alpha like me would probably be punished soon. If that day really came, then I would have fulfilled my role in the novel and be able to return to the real world.

But little by little, things started to take a strange turn.

They thought my deliberate games meant I was simply born to have fun.

They thought I didn't cherish their feelings because no one had ever taught me how to love.

They thought I bought and sold their affection because I was generous with my money.

They thought I couldn't accept an alpha's love because I was an alpha myself.

So none of the things I did were my fault.

Even if they were my fault, they still couldn't change how much they loved me.

P.S.1. This is basically a labor of love. The outline has an ending.
