The Academy's Hired Lackey

At a prestigious academy, the F4, adored by everyone, always have a few extras around them who are as annoying as flies: delusional, yet impossible to shake off.

Lin Ye is not only an extra, but also the F4’s lackey, known to everyone as their “attack dog.” Anyone who tries to get close to the F4 gets targeted by him. He works like a beast of burden for them. He might as well be their servant.

The F4 treat him like a toy, too.

At last, Lin Ye completes the mission assigned to him by the System and prepares to leave without looking back. On the day he changes dorms, he drags his suitcase along and says to F1, “Bro, let’s call it quits.”

F4: “You really think you’re something, huh? Who are you trying to play hard to get with?”

F3: “That playing-hard-to-get act is pathetic.”

F2: “Disgusting gay guy.”

F1, his expression icy: “Do you need me to have someone help you?”

Lin Ye shivers. He knows F1 will definitely find out his dorm number, but he still hopes to keep it secret for as long as possible. He refuses.

The first week after Lin Ye leaves.

F4: “Lin Ye will come back on his own in a few days. Without us, he won’t get anywhere at this academy.”

F3: “He’ll come back and beg us.”

F2: “Disgusting gay guy.”

F1, his expression icy: “...”

The nth week after Lin Ye leaves.

F4: “I went to the bathroom today, and Lin Ye glanced at me. He’s about to come over and talk to me.”

F3: “He walked past the villa yesterday. He’ll probably come back soon.”

F2: “I saw some guy with a death wish hitting on Lin Ye.”

F1, his expression icy: “...”

The F4 are waiting for Lin Ye to come crawling back and apologize, but instead, they see all the admirers flocking around him.

Lin Ye thought he could walk away once he finished his mission, so he spared no effort in sweet-talking them during the assignment, calling them all “Bro” and the like...

Only when he tries to leave the academy by car one day and opens the door does he realize he overdid it. A handsome, cold-faced man sits in the car, half his face shrouded in gloom, slowly lifting his eyes to look at him. F1, who has no business being here, is sitting in his car with every intention of catching him in the act and dragging him back.

#We thought that now Lin Ye had left, we could talk about grown-up things, but whenever we open our mouths, it’s still Lin Ye#

P.S. Updates are a little slow because I’m trying to build up a stock of readers, though I might not manage that anyway.
