Hyakuya Taichi was trapped on the day Mikaela led everyone from the orphanage in an escape. Though he wanted to lead them all away from death, time and again he died at the hands of the vampire Ferid.
Back at the beginning once more, this time he finally managed to stop everyone. All they had to do was wait a little over a month, then they could escape without running into that vampire.
But the day before they were due to put the plan into action, they unexpectedly encountered a vampire. Hiding behind the others, Hyakuya Taichi kept praying the man would leave soon.
By a twist of fate, he accidentally met the vampire's gaze. The next moment, the man smiled faintly at him:
"Still not hiding well enough?"

The Sheep King recently picked up an amnesiac child.
In the snow and ice, the child lay in the depths of an alley, dressed in clothes unsuited to the season and covered in injuries, with life and death uncertain.
The leader of the Sheep thought the child was so well-behaved and timid that he couldn't help taking an interest. By the time he realized something was wrong, he had a little tail following him everywhere, clingy enough to start getting on his nerves.
"Stop following me. Keep it up and I'll throw you out!"
Later, after the Sheep King was betrayed, the annoying fish beside him happily prodded at his sore spot:
"You protected so many people, and in the end, the youngest is the only one who wants to stay with you."
The Sheep King had to admit he was right. To keep even the youngest one from being corrupted, he turned around and threw away the crab-meat tin someone had secretly given the little one.
Dazai Osamu: "..."
Later still,
the annoying fish defected, and Nakahara Chuuya, delighted that he no longer had to worry about the little one being led astray, happily opened a bottle of red wine to celebrate with the kid at home.
But when he got back, the place was empty. A little investigating revealed that...
the kid he'd raised for years had been secretly carried off by that traitorous fish!

Lately, Gojo Satoru keeps seeing a half-spirit child in his dorm in the middle of the night.
At first, the child just sat quietly in a corner, so Gojo Satoru ignored him.
Then the child's territory expanded, stretching from Gojo's fridge all the way to his bed.
For the sake of his sleep, and with absolutely no child-loving spirit, Gojo punched through his friend Geto Suguru's dorm room door and tossed the child inside.
A week later, his friend knocked on the door.
Outside, his friend looked like a sly, smiling fox. In a coaxing voice, he asked the child in his arms:
"Xiao Yi, who is this?"
Child: "My second dad!"
Gojo Satoru: "..."
I regret it. Is it too late to take him back?

Ferid (Lady Ferid) is a real piece of work. The Seraph of the End world will have angst, but the main storyline leans toward a cozy, nurturing vibe.
There will be other worlds later, some of which will be combined.
The protagonist is a character from the Seraph of the End orphanage, a poor little thing whose high-resolution pictures you can't even find on Baidu.
Theme: A warm, loving childhood can heal you for a lifetime.
