Reborn as Lü Zhi's Precious Baby

[My new novel, The First Son of the Emperor, is now underway. Please add it to your collection!] Blurb: In the seventh year of the Han, the siege of Baideng had just been lifted, Han Xin was demoted to marquis, and Jia Yi was born. In the eighth year of the Han, Liu Bang began to consider changing his heir, and the Crown Prince’s position grew increasingly precarious. At just that moment, Empress Lu, nearing forty, became pregnant again and gave the Liu family a little prince. The empress had once been imprisoned by Qin and held captive by Chu. A birth at her age should have been perilous, yet she emerged rosy-cheeked and was back on her feet the very next day. The emperor, Consort Qi, and the entire court: ?! - Liu Yue had worked diligently to survive in the apocalypse. After being reborn, he discovered that his father was Liu Bang, his mother was Lu Zhi, and his older brother was the Crown Prince. His father was old, and his brother’s ascension to the throne was only a few years away. The apple of Lu Zhi’s eye, the little prince gazed up at her with teary eyes. “Mother, I don’t want to work hard anymore.” Love Mother and give her a hug and a kiss every day. If he’s wronged, go to Mother. If someone annoys him, go to Mother. Mother plans to give him the largest and richest fiefdom, so of course he has to accept! Mother can’t bear to let him go, so he’ll stay in the palace and hold his fiefdom in name only. One day, his imperial brother cried, “I never want to be emperor again!” Mother sneered. “Good! I’ve wanted Yue’er to take the throne for ages. That’s all I needed to hear!” Liu Yue: ???? * A loosely fictionalized Han Dynasty transmigration story, with many original liberties. Please don’t nitpick the history. * Family bonds and career come first, with an adored-by-all protagonist and a Mary Sue aura. [This is a novel, not a history book. I wrote it for fun. It’s a light, feel-good power fantasy, so don’t overthink it.] Theme: Working hard to build a better Han Dynasty
