After My Ex-Boyfriend Lost His Memory

At a high school reunion two years after graduation, drinks flowed freely. Ning Fang, who could usually hold his liquor all night, finally got drunk under his old classmates' relentless prodding and blurted out:

Ning Fang: "I'm coming clean. I'm gay!"

Everyone: "?"

Ning Fang: "And my ex-boyfriend was in our class!"

Everyone: "!"

Ning Fang: "Oh, he didn't come today..."

Everyone: "What the hell?!"

The private room erupted. The only classmate who hadn't come to the reunion was their class's aloof top student, Jiang Qi.

And Ning Fang and Jiang Qi had been the school's most notorious rivals!

How could anyone turn down such juicy gossip? Everyone peppered him with questions: "When did it start? Which one of you pursued the other? And why did you break up?"

"I..." Ning Fang was so dizzy he hadn't even opened his mouth when someone grabbed the hand he'd been waving in the air.

The classmate who'd said he didn't want to come was now bending down to lift him up, his movements practiced and gentle.

Jiang Qi glanced coolly at the others, whose jaws had nearly hit the floor.

"I pursued him on his coming-of-age birthday. We never broke up, so stop pining after him."

Everyone: "...!!!!!!!"

Not long into the new semester of their sophomore year, Ning Fang spotted a familiar figure on his way to the cafeteria.

Running into an ex, he turned and bolted almost on instinct, but the other man blocked his way first.

Jiang Qi frowned at him. "Didn't you say we'd eat together every day?"

Ning Fang: "(=°Д°=)?"

Wait, did that still count after a breakup?

So... what do you do when your ex-boyfriend has amnesia and thinks you're still madly in love?

Watching his handsome ex-boyfriend dutifully wait for him after class every day, Ning Fang put on a stern face and coughed twice.

"Um... as a reward, you can hold my hand today!"

*One-on-one / Happy ending / First love*

*No cheating, no groveling redemption arc. They broke up because of external circumstances.*
