Milo was speechless. "Turn me back... Wait, actually, never mind for now."

A slender, beautiful hand hesitantly and gently placed the golden egg in its palm and lifted it up, close enough for Milo to see every distinct eyelash on the female insectoid.

Valen, the ruthless and cold-hearted insectoid pirate, narrowed his eyes and cautiously poked the warm egg. "Where did this egg come from?"

The insect egg, dazzled by his wife's good looks, rubbed against Valen's palm.

Valen paused, then his lips curled upward. "It's mine now."

By day, Valen, his face full of arrogance, treated Milo the male insectoid with disdain and disgust.

By night, Valen's expression softened, and he cuddled close to Milo in his insect-egg form.

Well, would you look at that! His wife had two sides to her.

From being terrified to resting peacefully in Valen's blankets, Milo witnessed Valen's countless mortifying moments and hesitantly kept his secret identity hidden.
