[Blurb]
Si Yue died because of a genetic experiment.
The first thing he did after being reborn was plunge a knife into the marshal's heart!
In an instant, wanted posters bearing his face spread across the entire interstellar realm.
Si Yue fled from place to place, with Levi, the insects' former loyal, strong, and dazzling young general, always close behind.
After spending a year in hiding on a planet occupied by space pirates, Si Yue spotted Levi, battered and bruised, at an auction.
A pale, slender hand lifted the female insect's chin. Si Yue looked into Levi's eyes, still bright beneath their veil of dust, his own violet gaze dark and unreadable.
Covered in wounds, Levi stared back with a resolute gaze. His voice was hoarse but firm. "You fugitive, just you wait. You'll never escape the Empire's grasp."
Si Yue curled his lips into a smile. "But, Levi..."
"The Empire has abandoned you."
Is there anything more satisfying to an insect than destroying a false faith?
In his previous life, Si Yue endured endless torment, both physical and mental, and lost his sight and hearing.
The only thing that gave him hope was the warmth of a hand holding his before he fell asleep each night.
Si Yue remembered that insect's pheromones.
They were exactly like Levi's during his heat.
"..."
Si Yue fell silent.

Levi's pheromones were in disarray. He clenched his teeth and warily watched the male insect staring at him strangely.
Levi's voice was hoarse. "Male, what are you trying to..."
Levi froze, staring at Si Yue's face, now close enough to fill his vision, and his beautiful iris-like violet eyes.
Si Yue lowered his eyelids slightly, slid his long fingers between the female insect's fingers, and pressed their joined hands to his cool cheek. His voice was low and husky. "You smell so good..."

[Upcoming novel blurb: Back to Our Youth [Reborn]]
Xu Le is an illegitimate child. After his mother dies, his biological father brings him back to the Xia family and renames him Xia Le.
At first, he is timid but excited, looking forward to his new family and new life.
Later, Xia Le understands that his new family neither needs him nor wants him around.
Xia Le learns to be meek and unassuming, never competing for anything, except... the boy who is always looking at him with a smile in his eyes.
Xia Le falls in love with Yu Xing, and fortunately, Yu Xing falls in love with him too.
Their relationship lasts from high school through university.
Even though his family life is unhappy, as long as Yu Xing is there, Xia Le has a place to call home.
On graduation day, Xia Le happily carries flowers and a ring, planning to propose while Yu Xing is having his picture taken. But as he sneaks closer, he sees something that chills him to the bone.
Yu Xing is kissing his younger brother passionately.
For the first time, Xia Le feels his blood run cold and rage overwhelm him. He charges forward without a second thought!
When he comes to his senses, he has been kicked out of the Xia family for injuring his younger brother. He spends the next six months drifting aimlessly in bars.
Just as Xia Le prepares to start over, he is diagnosed with the same stomach cancer that killed his mother.
Clutching a bottle of liquor, Xia Le dies quietly on the day of Yu Xing and his younger brother's wedding.
Xia Le is reborn, returning to his school days in the body of a chubby boy who died young in an accident.
The boy is called Si Mingxu, the child of a nouveau riche family. He gives off a tacky air, and no one wants to be his friend, except for Xia Le in his previous life.
That other version of himself, kind and timid.
Si Mingxu hates this version of himself. He is clueless about everything, foolish, and naive.
So, just as Si Mingxu did in his previous life, he ignores Xia Le when he tries to approach him, and keeps staring at him with a contemptuous look that is hard to bear.
Only then does Si Mingxu realize that in his previous life, Xia Le was not only a naive, sweet fool, but also stubborn and persistent.
Filthy from head to toe, Xia Le suppresses his fear and forces a bright smile. Waving his soft little fists, he steps in front of Si Mingxu. "I-I'll help you chase them away!"
The next moment, Si Mingxu impatiently pulls him close and speaks in a hard voice.
"You little fool. Just stay behind me."
*Top's POV, schooldays selfcest
Theme: Holding on to a glimmer of light in the darkness
It feels a bit far-fetched, this setting is too abrupt
The first few chapters were pretty good, but in the last few chapters I felt like I had to rely on adding more settings to win if I couldn't beat the game. The sudden golden finger made me a bit unable to adapt. . .
Although... Huo received bug compensation... But what about the bugs that died because of him? Aren't they the ones who deserve to be compensated the most? As the second culprit (that's what it means), shouldn't Huo be punished? I don't mean anything else, I just feel that it's because of him that so many bugs suffered and died, and it's very sad that he even got bug compensation... Although I also hope that lovers will eventually get married.
I realized that April is the child of the Insect Emperor and the great beauty. But the great beauty was not of high status and was framed by the marshal after giving birth to his eldest son. The Insect Emperor spared the life of the great beauty and gave his eldest son April to the female queen for upbringing. [Just guessing.
Personally, it's not fair to April that Howard and Abner are together. It was the Insect King who raped Abner, so what's wrong with April to bear the hatred of Abner and Howard?
Did you turn on the camera before April? Was the kiss captured? Hehe
Both April and the Insect King have purple eyes? Don't be the son of the Insect Emperor in April, right?
When I think of what happened to April and other insects, I feel that this kind of love is disgusting and there is an afterlife.
Why did the plot fall apart after this? There was so much foreshadowing and Gong made so many efforts to kill Huo, but he was suddenly given a golden finger. Doesn't it make Gong's previous efforts funny? Moreover, many of the previous details have not been explained clearly yet, is it almost over? Look at the comment section. Huo has done so many wrong things before, but has he not been punished? Even if he is quite pitiful, is that not the reason for doing so many wrong things? Another question is whether Huo Dui Gong's hatred is a bit unreasonable. I don't know if there will be an explanation later, but I see that I can't understand and sympathize with Huo Dui Gong's hatred now. April and Levi are really miserable. I feel really bad for them. I really hope they don't have to suffer so much. I like the setting and the emotional line of this book. It's a genre I've never seen before. I really like it, but it made me a little frustrated after reading it (only my personal opinion)
I finished reading it in one go, and I feel like everyone's endings are open-ended, which makes me a little sad.
