Lin Shu, a straight-laced man who works out year-round and likes boxing at the gym, has an accident and becomes Lin Shu, a frail husband bedridden with illness. When he wakes up, he is already married to the blind Liu Yexiao.

At first, Lin Shu can't stand his sickly body. He doesn't want to eat bland food, and he doesn't want to care about his blind husband, who is always kind to him.

Determined to change, he works hard to get stronger and earn money, hoping to leave this poor, remote place. But when he finally tries to escape, he realizes that somewhere along the way, he's given his heart away.

Liu Yexiao spent all the money he had saved by not getting his eyes treated to marry the sickly Lin Shu. He never expected that after they married, Lin Shu would turn out to be so strong-willed.
