Is This Really a Dating Contract?

[Not abandoned, but updates are irregular]

A century after the zombie outbreak, the world has recovered and rebuilt. The seven major bases govern themselves, yet remain interconnected.

Qin Siyan, a major general at the Tianshu Base, is being pressured by his family to get married. He goes to a resort to clear his head.

His subordinate comes up with a terrible idea: find an ordinary person and bring her back to get engaged under a contract. He spots a girl digging in the dirt not far away.

And so Fang Chongxing becomes Qin Siyan's contract girlfriend. She says her name is A Xing.

In the eyes of Qin Siyan's family and friends, A Xing is a poor country bumpkin who has never seen the world.

Qin Siyan has people teach A Xing piano, dance, and social etiquette. Fang Chongxing lazily says it's too hard and she can't learn it.

When the contract expires, Fang Chongxing leaves of her own accord. Qin Siyan searches for his star like a madman, but Fang Chongxing vanishes without a trace.

Then, at a party, Qin Siyan hears someone introduce the new leader of the Yuheng Base.

He looks over and sees Fang Chongxing, dazzling in the crowd.

She raises her glass and gives him a faint smile, surrounded by handsome men.

The sight is too much to bear. Qin Siyan crushes his glass, and bright red wine trickles between his fingers.

With Qin Siyan pestering her relentlessly, Fang Chongxing has no choice but to bring him to the Yuheng Base.

A refined boy with curly hair says, "So you're the man Sister Fang brought back? She must just be interested in you for now. Don't think too highly of yourself."

A mild-mannered young man pushes up his glasses. "Looks alone aren't enough. I believe Captain Fang appreciates people with substance more."

A spoiled young woman puts her hands on her hips. "Hah! You're so ordinary, yet you managed to catch Sister A Xing's eye. You must have some tricks up your sleeve!"

Qin Siyan: "...?"
