A Guide to Raising Animals in Space

After Ji Yutong transmigrates to the interstellar age, she inherits an animal sanctuary and thinks she's become the owner of a rundown interstellar zoo.

She has a group of adorable fluffy babies: a snow leopard cub, a tabby kitten, a fawn, an Alaskan Malamute...

She also has a lazy security guard, a sultry assistant, a chef with no sense of taste, a runaway girl she took in, and a big-tailed wolf she picked up.

One night, Ji Yutong wakes up thirsty and opens the door, only to find the zoo brightly lit. The reception hall looks like a nightclub. A brown bear is DJing, a python is dancing around a pole, and a red panda is chugging apple cider vinegar.

Ji Yutong: ...

Ji Yutong shuts the door without changing expression, thinking that she must have opened the zoo the wrong way.

The Starry Cubs Sanctuary gets more and more established, and its director becomes famous not only for her adorable little charges, but also for her excellent cooking.

Stir-fried, flash-fried, braised, roasted, pan-fried, steamed, seared, boiled, quick-fried, and stewed dishes.

Seafood congee, beef brisket stewed with potatoes, fragrant crucian carp, pan-fried oyster rolls, mapo tofu, crispy chicken leg rice bowls...

At first, netizens on the Star Network scoff: Your food is an abomination.

Later, the Star Network's netizens say: It's delicious! Please, Director, start a livestream!

The Crown Prince of the Empire is badly injured and reverts to his animal form, a snow wolf. A pure human takes him in, and after his wounds heal, he refuses to leave.

Ji Yutong never expected the big-tailed wolf she picked up to really be a big-tailed wolf, or that he would turn into the white-haired young man she'd met in her dreams.

The ferocious Crown Prince of the Empire pins her against a chair.

Ji Yutong: Oh! So you're not a Samoyed.

The interstellar animals have all mutated, so don't compare them to real life.

The food preparation draws on books and online sources.
