Three Years After Everyone Turned Against Me

With ten days left until the world ends, people I used to know are lining up to visit my secluded cabin, hoping that I, the former "savior" they exiled from the Federation three years ago, will save the world one more time. I put a half-broken ticket machine by the door. It gives out numbers, but doesn't call them. Honestly, I'd rather dump a basin of water on them and make some remark about how there's no taking it back once it's spilled. But one of them has water powers... Never mind. They firmly believe I'm still as softhearted as I used to be, and that if they beg and guilt-trip me a little, I'll risk life and limb for the world all by myself, just as I did during my ten years as a savior. Sorry, but this time I'm not going to be the sucker. ...And even if the world ends again, it's not like I'll die. * Notes: 1. First-person narration from the female protagonist's perspective. It will be complete in 30,000 words, won't be paywalled, and is mainly a way for me to vent. There's not much logic or background. 2. The story is in the romance category because it deals with the female protagonist's past relationships, but there is no couple, since the world really does end in the end. 3. The premise was inspired by Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The actual story is unrelated and is not fan fiction. 4.
