System: Draw a random friend-or-family card, complete the "Reform a Scumbag" mission, and help them turn over a new leaf.
Ling Xiao: No problem. I'll arrange prison for them. It's the best place to repent.
System: ...Did you hear me? You're the scumbag's friend or family member!
Ling Xiao: You know what it means to uphold justice, even against your own family, right?
First world: Juvenile delinquent
Ling Xiao: A guide to getting your son sent to prison.
Second world: Pig-butchering scam (in progress)
Ling Xiao: A guide to blowing a telecom fraud ring sky-high.
Third world: ...
Note:
1. This is in the same series as my completed novel, How to Escape Scumbags.
2. After finishing this one, I'll update the silly legal comedy next door and resume the food novel.
3. I originally planned to write another quick transmigration story from a different perspective starring Sister Ling, but I probably won't, so I'm not putting it up for pre-registration.
My next main project is Has Cold Lawyer Updated Today?
Idealistic civil lawyer * chuunibyou web-fiction writer * puppy-like heroine VS
Realistic criminal defense lawyer * devoted hater and reader * cat-like hero
1.
Leng Yushui is a junior lawyer in her third year of practice. She has a little secret: at night, she transforms into a web-fiction writer and lets loose with absurd nonsense.
She writes lawyer stories, with a protagonist named "Leng Chengbutang." It's a sprawling epic with no logic whatsoever. She writes whatever makes her happy and doesn't care if her readers live or die.
By day: Fawning over clients and bowing and scraping to her boss.
By night: Her protagonist punches backstabbing clients and kicks unscrupulous bosses. Money doesn't matter, and she comes with a built-in intelligence debuff.
By day: Buried in case files, dragging a suitcase to court, then getting roundly scolded by the judge.
By night: Her protagonist is a lawyer on the mainland, yet can stroll around the courtroom, plop down on a desk, look down at the judge, and shout, "I object!"
By day: The lawyer opposing me in court today was named Sheng Shi. He was good-looking, but way too sharp-tongued!
By night: The protagonist takes on a new flunky to print and photocopy things, drive, and pick up takeout. His name is Sheng Shi.

Leng Yushui had a problem.
Her story was so unpopular that practically nobody read it. After dragging herself home from work, she opened the website and stared at the screen.

She fell into deep thought.
Why is this so unpopular?! Is it because of my surname?!
Still, she had one loyal reader from the very first chapter.
"The writing is rough, the plot is poor, and there are all kinds of logical errors. It's very unfriendly to readers who know the profession. I hope the author isn't a real lawyer, or the rule of law will face yet another obstacle."
"Go study up on the law before you come back."
Leng Yushui rolled up her sleeves, ready to argue, but the next second she received a huge tip.
"Tuition fee."
The next day's update:
The protagonist climbs down from the courtroom table for the first time and sits properly in the attorney's seat for the trial.
But she still smirks at the prosecutor. "My destined rival, this time I'll reclaim everything that belongs to me. Just you wait!"
Leng Yushui: I studied, but not all the way.
I'm somewhat willing to listen, maybe 40 percent.

They are forced to work together because of a case.
Leng Yushui turns into an irritable little puppy. "Lawyer Sheng, do you insist on working in my office because you don't trust me to handle this case? The trial is coming up soon. I haven't slept for two days because of it!"
Sheng Shi stared at her for a long time. Eventually, his handsome brows drew together.
Sunlight fell through the window. Disappointment and expectation shimmered like stars in his eyes.
"Lawyer Leng."
"Do you know what it feels like to lose your source of joy?"

"Is that why you didn't update yesterday?!"
A lighthearted, snarky, silly little sweet romance.
Theme: Punish evil and promote good, and obey the law.
Although the author is very careful in shaping the characters, I still feel that Li Yaocheng is very hypocritical. Any motive for the crime other than personal revenge disgusts me with the hypocrisy. And I really hate the image of this so-called highly intelligent criminal, who is just an animal in human skin. How can I use the word smart?
The ending of Murderer is too good, but women are still too soft-hearted and artistic. The moral bottom line needs to be lowered
After reading the first copy, I kind of understand why this book is so cold [cheek-holding]. In fact, I think it's because of the shaping and the channel. If it's on a romance channel, according to the character description, there will be a lot of love-minded wives who will kiss it. This is probably the yandere feeling they will like. The author's writing style is really good, I like it very much! But as the sisters in the comment area said, really no one cares about the inner struggle of the murderer. You can refer to "It's Him" by Xishanhe Dada. The book is really well written and will not make people have thoughts of loving and hating the murderer after reading it. Of course, the above is just my personal opinion. The creation of this character is indeed very uncomfortable to watch (especially for me as a female reader). I hope the author will get better and better. See you in the future!
I personally feel that in the end, Li had no regrets at all. It was the pain of the victim from beginning to end. He was just relieved. The family members of the victim had so many years of feelings and love. It is impossible to let go. Alas, but maybe the novel is just a novel, and the life sentence will become a fixed-term prison sentence in the end.
It would be great if this beast could experience the feelings of a victim tens of thousands of times. It has no bearing on whether it has repented. (I used to think that the protagonist planned to make it physically miserable and achieve physical repentance, but unfortunately not)
The murderer should not talk about the domestic violence mother, the alcoholic father, and the poor childhood. 0 People care about him and just want him to die quickly.
Oh my god, the last moment was particularly shocking. Sister Ling is indeed Sister Ling. But this ending is really uncomfortable. Underneath the madness and indifference is a neglected self, a heart that longs to be loved that has never been loved correctly and does not know how to love others correctly. Although it is often said that the path is chosen by oneself, in the end it is inevitable to be sad. Sister Ling must be the same way, so she gave him the key, hoping that one day he would understand the weight of life, and hope that in the end he would not only be punished by the law, but truly understand how to get along with the world and reconcile with himself - so he used such a cruel method to reverse his son's concept and use his own life to teach his son the last lesson.
I hope that beast gets 100,000,000 times the pain before dying.
The writing is very good, but the murderer should be buried. There is no need to find any excuse for him.
The devil is as good as the road, nice, go to jail, you scum. I can't empathize with any criminals. My ability to empathize is all used up with the victims.
