The Deposed Emperor's Third Marriage

Ling Chu transmigrates into the body of a foolish, lecherous young emperor who neglects state affairs and has been deposed. The new emperor is his second brother, the very man the original owner always kept under his heel.

The first time he tries to escape, he runs straight into a prince from a neighboring kingdom.

An imperial decree is issued, and he is bestowed upon the foreign prince. Bound hand and foot, he is forcibly stuffed into the bridal sedan chair for a political marriage.

He refuses to give up and tries to escape again.

Why should he lose the throne and still have to be used as a pawn?

The second time he escapes, his second brother's dead soldiers abduct him from the border between the two kingdoms.

When he wakes, his second brother tells him they aren't related by blood and says he will make him empress.

He refuses, but his second brother doesn't make things difficult for him.

This time, Lin Jiu truly can't escape his fate. He spends three years trapped in the imperial harem.

Every time, his second brother bullies him until he can't even cry out loud.

Every time he tries to escape, he is dragged back to his bedchamber and harshly punished.

Over time, Lin Jiu gives up and becomes a puppet at the mercy of others.

Until one day, his second brother looks at him darkly, lifts his chin, and says:

"The victorious general has returned to the capital and wants to marry you. Would you be willing to go to the general's residence?"

Ling Chu sneers. Does it really matter what he wants? Isn't the decision up to his brother? So he gives a tentative nod.

The third time, he is married into the general's household.

He never dreamed his second brother would actually let him go.

But what he never expected was that the man entering the bridal chamber that night would still be his second brother.

No...

After the second prince ascends the throne as the new emperor, he confines the deposed emperor in an abandoned palace and leaves him to fend for himself.

Before a battered bronze mirror, the deposed emperor still has a face capable of captivating anyone, despite the torment, hunger, and cold he has endured.

Ling Chu lies on the filthy ground, too hurt to get up, his hair disheveled and clothes in tatters, shivering in the cold wind.

He tries to escape, but every time his second brother catches him and drags him back.

Second Brother... he sobs, begging him to let him go.

1. A seriously twisted, possessive top.

2. Extremely melodramatic. I'm confident in my writing, so if this is your kind of thing, give it a try.

3. Add it to your favorites so you don't lose track of it. Come have a bite of this pitiful deposed emperor.
