Ming Chun is a little-known actor just starting out in show business. He has a handsome, considerate boyfriend who acts like a tough wolfdog around others and a cuddly puppy with him. They have a great relationship, and Ming Chun is perfectly happy with how things are.
Until the night he accompanies his boyfriend home, when he spots a man downstairs in a perfectly tailored suit, staring at him with deep, shadowed eyes.
His boyfriend comes down from upstairs and calls him "Big Brother." The man, who looks exactly like his boyfriend, is his boyfriend's twin brother.
"He's got a terrible temper. Just stay away from him," his boyfriend says.
Ming Chun wholeheartedly agrees with the second part. He really would rather not spend time with someone like that, even though he keeps running into the man after that.
Fortunately, the man knows how to keep his distance and doesn't have the terrible temper his boyfriend claimed.
"You still can't spend time with him. What if you mistake him for me?" His boyfriend is being unreasonable.
Ming Chun doesn't think he'd mistake them. Even though the man and his boyfriend have nearly identical faces, their temperaments couldn't be more different.
Still, sometimes his boyfriend seems a little off. When Ming Chun wakes from a dream, he can make out a blurry shape beside the bed.
His boyfriend's voice is gentle. "Chun Chun, you saw Big Brother today, didn't you? You didn't mistake him for me, did you?"
"Stay away from him, Chun Chun, or he'll bully you."
"Chun Chun, you're mine. Mine alone."
After meeting his boyfriend's brother, Ming Chun discovers things he'd never noticed before. This seems to be what his boyfriend is really like.
"He's been pretending to be someone else since he was a child, just to get what he wants. Once he gets it, he drops the act." His boyfriend's brother, wearing the same face but speaking as gently as his boyfriend, tells Ming Chun, "It must be hard for you. I'm his brother, after all. You can tell me if anything happens."
With the considerate older brother on one side and his boyfriend growing increasingly dark and twisted on the other, Ming Chun finds himself struggling to tell them apart.
Then, after he joins a new production, the investor appears in a perfectly tailored suit. He slowly loosens his tie and gives Ming Chun a nod and a smile. At that moment, Ming Chun can't tell whether the man in front of him is his boyfriend or his boyfriend's brother.
Everything that happened before was a trap laid by the hunter, waiting for his prey to walk right into it. Beneath the man's stiff, stern exterior lurks a ruthless desire to possess. "Have you really never mistaken me for him?"
"What a good boy."
Gentle, considerate, possessive younger brother with a madman underneath + stiff, stern, possessive older brother x naturally slow-witted, laid-back recipient (1v2)
