Surrounded by a Pack of Wolves

(The setting is still a work in progress.)

When Yan Enning takes his frail, sickly friend home, he discovers how quiet the house is. His friend had told him that he had a large family.

"Dad is always at the company," his friend says. "My uncles and brothers aren't married, and their jobs keep them away from home most of the year."

Though they're supposedly away most of the year, Yan Enning meets every one of them while staying at his friend's house.

His father, said to be a philanthropist, is stern and imposing. His second uncle looks aloof and distant, and is a pianist. His youngest uncle is gentle and affectionate, yet always melancholy.

His unapproachable eldest brother watches Yan Enning with a strange look, while his younger brother, a famous star, grins and throws himself into Yan Enning's arms, affectionately calling him big brother.

There's something strange about the whole family.

He keeps dreaming of a tall shadow standing beside his bed. The dreams that follow are too shameful for him to dwell on.

Later, he realizes that his milk seems to have been drugged. It sometimes has a strange taste, so he secretly pours it into the flowerpot in his room.

That night, he wakes in a feverish heat. Amidst the flashes of lightning and rolls of thunder, he sees a familiar face. At last, he understands why.

Yan Enning is so terrified that he runs blindly, but someone grabs his wrist and pins him in the darkness.

"You came into my house. Did you really think you could leave?"

He can't think of anything to do except ask his friend for help.

"But, A Ning." His friend lowers his head and gently strokes his face. A sick, obsessive look appears on his pale face. "Aren't I the person you love most? Then stay. Stay by my side."

★★Reader's Guide★★

1. All the main characters are tops. This is just my guilty-pleasure, soapy fantasy about everyone in the family loving the bottom. All the tops are sexually inexperienced, and the son is adopted.

2. Non-consensual romance, with an old-school melodramatic feel.

3. Not recommended for readers with strong character preferences. Readers with lots of trigger points should also read with caution.

Theme: Love requires mutual respect.
