Later, Fu Xingwen discovers that the guqin teacher he's had a crush on is none other than his in-game apprentice, Xiaoyueyue. Though Fu Xingwen has always shut down fans trying to pair him with someone, he takes matters into his own hands and starts promoting the Xingyue ship himself.

The moment she entered a game, she received a game invite from Fu Xingwen:

"You really did go duo with him??"

In that moment, his aged Biluochun tea jealousy turned into old-school pickled fish jealousy.
