Shen Xianyu never dreamed that while she was happily fishing, she would cross into a parallel world the very next second.

The System told her that if she could get past the fishhooks, nets, harpoons, electric nets, and everything else in front of her, she would earn the chance to ascend and become human!

After a series of maneuvers, Shen Xianyu successfully took human form and made it ashore, but she soon discovered things weren't so simple.

This was Country A, a place of barren mountains and treacherous rivers, primitive and backward. The locals relied on hunting as their only source of income.

And her current identity was a rare animal wearing human skin. In other words, she was the most popular hunting target.

How could she let that happen?

To protect herself, she decided to lead everyone down the path of prosperity through science.

System: "Congratulations! You have received your starting item: [Livestream Room]. You can unlock more items using the income from your livestream!"

Shen Xianyu: "Sounds good!"

Half a year later, a mysterious livestream appeared on "Kada Kada," a famous short-video app in neighboring Country B. The streamer traveled through the mountains and forests, with all kinds of rare and exotic animals appearing on camera.

Residents of Country B, worn down and anxious by their cutthroat society, lost themselves in the beautiful natural scenery. The livestream stayed at the top of the popularity charts.

[Is that the legendary Xinghua that brings good luck just by being seen? Hurry and make a wish!]

[I hereby declare this little silver deer my son. I want to watch him grow up every day!]

As the comments went wild, the streamer, Shen Xianyu, cruelly revealed the truth: "Cute, isn't it? Pretty, isn't it? But Country A is poor, so these little things will soon be sold to Country B and turned into your luxury fur and premium flower tea."

The comments erupted in anguished cries: [No!]

Shen Xianyu smiled faintly. "Don't panic. There's still a way. Send me 50 and help me establish a nature reserve!"

Several years later, after this continent had become an ecological tourism destination and Country A had finally escaped poverty and grown prosperous, a young child stood before Shen Xianyu's statue in the wealth plaza at the heart of the country and asked her mother:

"Mom, who is she?"

"No, she isn't human."

The young mother answered seriously: "She's our guardian deity."
