The Daily Life of Raising a Cunning Big Shot

Xue Zhi transmigrates into another world and becomes an odd-job worker at a restaurant, earning no wages at all.

To make matters worse, she's bullied and beaten at people's whim.

Since she can't just accept her fate, she might as well roll up her sleeves and get to work.

Fried chicken, roast duck, flaky pastries, braised pork, dressed crab, and all kinds of soups.

But her cooking leaves Tang Xin, the eldest young master of the Tang family, sick and unable to sit the imperial examinations. As punishment, Xue Zhi is made to wash dishes for a year.

In that case, she might as well open her own restaurant and become a shareholder.

The Xue Family Restaurant officially opens.

Pork in sweet-and-sour sauce, noodles with hot oil, shrimp fried rice, and fried chicken wings;

roasted pig trotters, seaweed buns, garlic scallops, and little steaks.

The customers come and go, praising the food without end.

As the restaurant's reputation grows, more and more beggars gather at its door. One day, Xue Zhi takes pity on them and goes out to hand out porridge, only to spot a familiar figure by chance.

Revenge may be delayed, but it will come.

Xue Zhi immediately brings Tang Xin back and orders him to do odd jobs.

But little by little, Xue Zhi starts to realize that something is not quite right.

She's the owner, so how come Tang Xin has her in his arms, leaving her unable to move?
