Has the Overworked Demon Lord Repented Today?

You're a balding 996 office drone with no parents and only one family member: a male ragdoll cat with white fur, blue eyes, a gorgeous face, and a nasty attitude.

The night before you're supposed to get him neutered, your nasty cat turns into a beautiful young man. Staring at you with wide, watery blue eyes, he tells you that he's remembered everything about his previous life now that he's an adult. You were a cold-blooded demon king from another world, defeated by a hero before you could destroy the world.

As the greatest demon king of all time, your soul is immortal. The hero could only seal you away.

But your extraordinary cat, the one you picked up off the street, steps in to defend you. He explains that you just had a bad start in life: you were raised by a bunch of idiots who only knew how to fight, and gradually grew sick of life and longed for death amid all the chaos.

Why not try a different environment and turn over a new leaf? You could make a fresh start and shine.

So he goes into exile in another world with you, waiting for the right moment to make a triumphant return.

Your devoted cat declares his love for you:

"It's time to pick up where we left off!!"

You stare at him in silence, remembering the days you wiped his butt, chased him out of the kitchen, wrestled him to trim his claws, and screamed at him not to eat chocolate. Your heart is hard as iron, and you calmly reply:

"No. I don't fuck idiots."

"?? Why are you saying exactly the same thing you said in your past life? Is this how all long-lived older guys act in younger-man romances?"

"Then let me ask you this: what's the first thing you'll do after you get your powers back?"

"Blow up the company.

DingTalk keeps ringing. People are breaking down." You look at your phone, which is still flashing nonstop, and answer without hesitation.

Enemy of humanity, true to your original purpose.
