[Harry Potter] I'm Done Pretending: I Admit It, I'm a Looks-Obsessed Dog and I Want Them All

[Harry Potter Marauders Era, All Routes Romance]

As one of Hogwarts' notorious pretty-face enthusiasts, Lailake never turns down a handsome man or beautiful woman. She doesn't mean anything by it. She just wants to tell everyone: Is it a crime to be attracted to good looks? If it isn't, why can't I have them all?

A pretty-face enthusiast's famous quote:

"I hate that my talents are so limited. I only got seven Os across eight subjects in first year, and my only redeeming quality is my looks.

But what good are my looks? I can't exactly seduce myself, can I? Whenever I think about how that beautiful woman in the mirror is me, life feels so dull. I hate this pretty face that I can't use to seduce myself!"

Sirius's favorability toward her: -10086. James is so shocked that he yells, "When I asked you to pass me the answers during the exam, why did you send me a goblin?"

Another of her classic lines:

"There's a rumor going around that I'm a heartbreaker. I hope everyone won't believe or spread rumors. I'd like to set the record straight: I just want to give every attractive person a home. How is that being a heartbreaker?

That's clearly sharing your blessings with everyone. I hope the school paper will choose its words more carefully next time."

Remus covers his face, unable to watch, and quietly tugs at Lailake's robe, urging her to get down from the table before she embarrasses herself. The editor of the Ravenclaw school paper is already taking pictures.

[Reader Notes]

1. This is set during the Marauders Era of Harry Potter, and many plot points are made up.

2. The male lead is undecided. This is an all-routes romance, and only children have to choose. We want them all. There will be different male lead routes. James is an option, but his route is a nontraditional happy ending.

3. The heroine is a half-nightmare, half-witch hybrid. Her inhuman nature outweighs her humanity, so she has little sense of morality. She's a shallow pretty-face enthusiast, a silly beauty, and a humblebragging overachiever.

4. The characters are wildly out of character. This is just a wish-fulfillment romance, and the priority is fun. To avoid raising your blood pressure, I recommend reading without thinking too hard.
