The South Wall Knows Nothing of the Evening Breeze

In an age torn apart by war, everyone lived in fear, and the people were driven from their homes.

The lowly Prince Chang raised an army in rebellion at the age of sixty and seized the realm.

The first thing he did after securing his throne was take concubines.

Chu Wantang was the daughter of a fallen kingdom. On the night of her wedding, the old emperor died.

Every minister called her a wicked woman who had cursed the emperor to death, and wanted her eliminated as quickly as possible.

Yet the Seventh Prince, as the rumors called him, protected her.

She thought she had survived a calamity, but it turned out she... was no good person either.

Jin Yichuan, the seventh son of Prince Chang, was bloodthirsty and a fierce warrior.

Wherever he went on the battlefield, no one survived.

Just as everyone believed the throne was certain to be hers,

Prince Chang's final decree named the Eleventh Prince as his successor.

One was the wicked consort everyone wanted dead.

The other was an ambitious prince.

Chu Wantang never knew what Jin Yichuan truly wanted.

And all Jin Yichuan wanted was the person he had glimpsed in a fleeting moment.
