Following the Ancestral Precepts, I Help Ghosts Find Their Enemies

The human body is made up of countless bones.

The face alone has fifteen.

Tao Su inherited the family tradition and became a bone-reading fortune teller.

She reads a person's face to discern their fortune, and then their heart.

Actually...

It's just that this is the only skill she ever learned.

She didn't learn a single bit of Tao Yuyuan's demon-exorcising skills.

She still remembers...

"Mom~ This is no use at all~ I want to exorcise demons and cultivate the Dao too!"

Tao Yuyuan only stroked her head and smiled fondly.

"If one day you meet that person, you'll recognize them at a glance."

In a bustling street, in a little shop, she casts lots and guides the masses.

Yu Guiwan has never believed in fate.

She accompanies a friend to this little shop, famous throughout the neighborhood.

Tao Su walks through the crowd straight toward her.

"Miss, may I read your bones?"

Yu Guiwan looks at Tao Su's carefree manner.

She finds it amusing, but is also a little curious.

"Little fortune teller, what if your reading is wrong?"

Tao Su steps closer and gently touches her shoulder.

"If I get it wrong~ how about you and me?"

"Little fortune teller, you're not worth much. What would I want you for?"

Tao Su smiles without answering.

A little fortune teller might not be worth a penny, but this heart is worth its weight in gold.

By the time you return, it will be too late. I'll spend the rest of my life waiting.

One bite of peach pastry, sweetness to the depths of the heart.

Four liang and nine qian: that's the weight of my love for you.
