My Backing Comes from Chinese Classical Mythology

Blurb: Yan Yan, a famous online novelist, ran into trouble while surfing the internet. When she opened her eyes again, she'd become Yan Yan, a pitiful, overlooked girl from the Yan family of Dongsheng Province, a cannon-fodder supporting character in a cultivation novel. As it happened, the book's author was Yan Yan's sworn enemy, and she'd read the whole thing and studied it closely. The cultivation system in the book involved drawing on the power of the stars to strengthen oneself, granting the ability to drive out ghosts, demons, and evil spirits. The original Yan Yan, however, had a constitution rejected by the power of the stars. Yan Yan: "It's just spirit-medium nonsense, right? I'm a descendant of the dragon with Investiture of the Gods, Journey to the West, Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio, and In Search of the Supernatural backing me up!" In the original plot, Yan Yan was forced to become the concubine of an eighty-year-old man over a wager between the original heroine and the Yan family's legitimate daughter. Humiliated, she hanged herself. Yan Yan transmigrated into the book at that very moment. Watching the legitimate daughter’s maid hand her a pink wedding dress with a fake smile, Yan Yan changed into it without batting an eye. Haven't you heard? The pinker the outfit, the harder the fight! High in the air, her pink skirt billowed wildly. Behind the young girl appeared a blazing phantom: Red Armillary Sash over her shoulders, the Universe Ring across her back, Wind-Fire Wheels beneath her feet. With three heads and six arms, she held a Demon Slaying Sword, a demon-chopping blade, a Demon-Binding Rope, a demon-subduing staff, an embroidered ball, and a fire wheel. Yan Yan's eyes turned bloodred. Tilting her head, she smiled. "I summon the Great Deity of the Three Altars and Seas, Third Prince Nezha!" [Enters the paid section on July 16. Tu Shan Mu rolls her eyes and tosses her a packet of herbs. "Did the Demon Venerable hit you in the head last time? My husband is a proper gentleman, too weak to hurt a fly. How could he be that bastard?" A crow on the windowsill keeps cawing, "My lord, why does Madam's profile look so much like that woman from the demon realm?" Yan Po smiles and calmly turns a page.
