The main story is complete, so everyone who's been waiting for it to build up can start reading now!!!
My next story, My Sickly Enemy Is Carrying My Child, has already started updating. The blurb is below. Please give it a look.
[Wily, seductive, and self-controlled top x puppy-like bottom at first, then a shedding wolfdog later]
Qiao Che was 21 when he learned he had a fiance chosen for him at birth. Less than half a month later, he was bundled off to the big shot's house on the pretext of building a relationship before marriage.
The young master arrived in a sports car, wearing leather from head to toe and radiating an overwhelming aura. As soon as he walked in, he tossed down a cohabitation agreement.
“Even if this is a marriage of convenience, don't think you can keep a wife at home while fooling around outside. Cheat and we'll get divorced.”
Qiao Che figured he could eventually catch the thirty-year-old man cheating. But the man turned out to be as chaste as a monk. Qiao Che planned to keep his distance and somehow make it through the three years, but at a press conference, the big shot took a blow meant for him and suffered a concussion. Worse, he had retrograde amnesia and remembered nothing except Qiao Che.
The big shot had forgotten all about their marriage agreement and remembered only that Qiao Che was his beloved. But after a few days, he discovered that his beloved wouldn't stay with him at night, wipe him down, bathe him, or carry him to the toilet. At every turn, Qiao Che handed him off to the caregiver. The man in bed looked pale and weak, his breathing faint, his gaze restrained.
“Xiao Che, are we not on good terms?”
“What? What do you mean?”
“You didn't stay last night, and it seems we don't live together either. I think we might not be on good terms, and you don't like me. You may be staying here because I saved you, but it's all right if you don't want to be here. You can go home. I'll manage on my own.”
Looking at the pale face before him, Qiao Che was overcome with guilt. If the man hadn't saved him, he might be the one lying in bed.
“No, we're very much in love. We don't live together after getting married because you think I'm too young, and that it's better to wait until I graduate. I was inexperienced when I left you with the caregiver yesterday. How about I stay with you tonight? I'll stay with you all day.”
From then on, Qiao Che became the model of a perfectly devoted husband. He wouldn't even serve Tan Ming juice unless it was at least body temperature. Little did he know the big shot had already recovered his memory and was just waiting to drag him back to his den.
The angst and regret version:
The core technology of Qiao Group's largest subsidiary was sold, while Tan Ming somehow ended up with an additional 11% of its shares. After meeting Tan Ming, Old Master Qiao suddenly suffered a heart attack and was hospitalized. The anger in Qiao Che's heart nearly blazed out of control. He looked at Tan Ming as if seeing him for the first time.
“Master Tan, what a way to play the game. I thought you only wanted our family's resources, but I never imagined your sights were set so high. You wanted the whole Qiao Group.”
Beneath the pale face of the man across from him, a look of shock emerged.
“You think I'm after the Qiao Group?”
“More than that. You even went after my grandfather.”
In the ensuing scuffle, Qiao Che shoved him hard to the ground and walked away without looking back.
When the truth finally came to light, Qiao Che received a deed transferring the shares to him free of charge, along with news that Tan Ming was going abroad for surgery.
When they met again, Qiao Che crouched beside the wheelchair, his eyes like a puppy's, damp and pleading.
“I know I was wrong. Can I take you home?”
But the man's eyes were full of exhaustion.
“There's no need. Our engagement was meant to help you take over the Qiao family. You've done well during this time, and the engagement has served its purpose. I'll send you the divorce papers later.”
Qiao Che looked just like a dog that had lost its fur...
An obsessive, unstable, sickly top who can get pregnant (he gets pregnant the one time he's the bottom) x an ambitious, capable, says one thing but means another bottom who later becomes a devoted dog
The Song family was on the brink of bankruptcy, crushed by massive debts. Their un favored eldest son, Song Jing, became their lifeline, and that very night he was practically bundled off to Qin Mo's home.
For three years, Qin Mo treated Song Jing with utter indulgence. When Song Jing realized he had fallen in love with Qin Mo, he discovered he was nothing more than a lookalike of the person in Qin Mo's wallet. Fine, then. There was nothing worth staying for.
Knowing Song Jing was insecure, Qin Mo planned to give him half his net worth on his birthday. He never expected to be met with betrayal instead.
What a masterful game of playing the long con! Facing the pale man across from him, Song Jing finally dropped his obedient mask.
“Why?”
“Why? You actually have the nerve to ask why? Qin Mo, have you been sitting so high above everyone for so long that you've forgotten what it feels like to be played?”
One sentence turned their three years together into a joke.
Song Jing braced himself for Qin Mo's revenge, but what arrived was a lab report: three months pregnant. Song Jing even suspected Qin Mo had gone mad.
“I'm pregnant? What kind of joke is this? Has Mr. Qin gotten into some really wild stuff lately?”
The man across from him didn't give him time to think. The bodyguards behind him tied him to the headboard.
“I'll give you one night to accept this. After the baby is born, I'll set you free.”
The next day, Qin Mo brought out a marriage agreement.
“Let's get married. If I die on the operating table, you'll inherit everything. Isn't the Qin family worth more than that little bit the Song family has? Let's make a big bet.”
Song Jing had forgotten him, and he could let that go. But he had to make Qin Mo pay for deceiving him for three years. If he died, that would be his final act of revenge.
The two went back to living under the same roof. Qin Mo's legs cramped at night.
As Song the dog massaged him, he thought: I don't want to look after him either, but he's carrying a little puppy in his belly.
Qin Mo threw up and couldn't eat a thing.
As Song the dog massaged his Zusanli acupoint, he thought: I don't want to look after him either, but a man has to take responsibility...
Until one day, the memories that had been buried resurfaced. It turned out they hadn't first met at 23.
Looking at the man on the bed, his face ashen and his features gaunt, Song Jing was truly afraid. He had actually forgotten him.
“Can I touch your belly? Just once.”
“Why didn't you tell me you were going to the hospital to donate blood?”
“Qin Mo, don't let anything happen to you. I couldn't bear it. I'll wait for you and the little one to come out safely.”
Reader's guide:
1. Obsessive, unstable, powerful top x capable and ambitious bottom who later becomes a devoted dog
2. Both are virgins. Qin Mo is the top, and gets pregnant after being the bottom once.
3. This is not a world where men generally give birth. Male pregnancy is an extreme rarity and carries risks.
Theme: Take life seriously and cherish the people around you
Supporting Brother Wu is a gong. If you are sick, gong eat well. If you are favored, gong will be recommended for life.
There are too many typos. The main character's name is often wrong. Typos make me uncomfortable.
I've basically finished reading it. It's my favorite type. There are a lot of typos. I wanted to abandon the article countless times but I resisted. I have to make some corrections, right?
The chapter "Mrs." Has not been replaced yet
But Mr. Tan's extra chapter is so short. I want to see the plot of their trip to Lhasa.
I really like Brother Wu, and I do love the little sugar cake too much.
Damn, there's something wrong with this episode.
I really like the story about the sickly male protagonist and the one about the crazy boyfriend who can have a party first. I really want to read it.
The old Brother Wu is so gentle
Finally, we saw Mr. Qi and Mr. Cang in the last chapter, although their faces were not shown.
