I Became a Hit After Becoming a PD

Blurb pending (I can't write it anymore, sob sob sob). Gu Yuyun debuted as a member of the group that made the cutoff on the idol survival show You're the Idol, and has been controversial ever since. Fans of the contestants ranked below him who didn't make the cutoff resent him, mocking him online for getting by on his looks alone. His haters call him a plant, and one who barely made the cutoff at that. They say he's shameless and that his connections aren't even worth mentioning. Gu Yuyun, who supposedly gets by on his looks alone and is also a rich second-generation heir, says they're all right. When word got out that Gu Yuyun would be a producer on the third season of You're the Idol, everyone sat back to watch the show. But when it aired, they were shocked to discover that the guy who supposedly got by on his looks alone could sing and dance exceptionally well, and had a dazzling talent for songwriting. And his connections were nothing to scoff at, either. After all, who could say the country's biggest Gu Group was unimpressive? His haters covered their faces, saying their cheeks were burning. -- 1.
