The Mermaid’s Courtship [MPreg]

What should you do when you suddenly discover that your target has a child, and that the child is yours?

Yin Zhan, the ninth prince of the merfolk. His beauty makes hearts flutter, his voice leaves people spellbound, and his romantic history inspires... pity. After spending years in the sea, he has never had a love life at all.

So the clan leader sends him ashore to learn how to fall in love from humans, whose love lives are complicated and abundant.

His first task: make the other person remember him.

Taking inspiration from the romance-drama trope of "love at first sight, for a lifetime," Yin Zhan rushes up to a human and bites right down on his lips.

After their kiss, the mermaid buff kicks in and the man loses his memory. Mission failed.

Failure is no big deal. The problem is that Yin Zhan keeps studying romance dramas and discovers that after the male and female leads kiss, the next plot point is "pregnancy."

Wei Xinzhi struggles to sit up in his hospital bed and looks at the unfamiliar man who has suddenly appeared. "Who are you?"

Yin Zhan takes his hand and places it on his own belly, sharing the good news:

"Who I am doesn't matter. Just know that I am carrying your child."

But then he discovers that this man already has a child, a blue-eyed one who looks a little like him.

What is going on?

Mermaid traits:

1. Kissing makes the other person lose their memory and faint.

2. Their tail disappears on land, but their merfolk form returns when their feet touch water.

3. They have the supernatural ability to control water.

4. Any sex can give birth.
